Dirt Dawg Baseball Academy was founded in 2001 for the sole purpose of developing players with high quality coaching in all areas of the game in order to prepare them for the next level. Life Skills like education, commitment, dedication, hard work, sacrifice, time management, health, fitness, and respect have been a staple in all of the 2,000+ players that have gone through our program over the past 15 years.

 

Dirt Dawg Baseball Academy has produced 40+ Div. 1 scholarship athletes, 10 players in MLB draft, 2 First round Draft Picks, 2 Major League Players, 4 All Americans, and countless Division 2,3, NAIA, or Junior College players.

Our College Development Teams (2026, 2027, 2028, and 2029)

• Season goes from May until December 1 (2029 teams go September-December 1)

• All players are assigned to a team according to their age, level on their high school team, & playing ability.

• Emphasis is on development , repetitions (At bats, innings pitched, games played, etc.), and then lastly,

  exposure to college/pro scouts. DEVELOPMENT of a COMPLETE and HEALTHY baseball student/athlete is our main goal. If this is accomplished, college/pro takes care of itself.

• Program offers:

  • Professional coaches training and mentoring players (ALL coaches are former professional and college players and coaches).

  •  Weekly high level practices emphasizing the foundation of mechanics in a highly competitive environment.

  • Coaches with years of experience/ training in the mental side of baseball, instructing players in:

  • Developing a championship mentality, focus, confidence, routines, present moment thinking, meditation/ relaxation, and visualization

  • Weekly Batting Practice with former professional hitters.

  • Weekend games, tournaments, or showcases.

  • Coaches will work with players and their families to develop a plan to market them to colleges. o Give the players opportunity for exposure to college/pro scouts.
